running from source

Juan Hernandez-2

Hi All,

Is there a how to, tutorial showing how to get the source code and set it up so you can run it?  I would like to start developing so I can contribute to NVDA development in the future and I wanted to learn its ins and outs.

Window-Eyes is my main screen reader right now, but now since VFO, the company who owns Jaws owns AISquared, so thus Window-Eyes as well, I would like to learn how to work on NVDA.  I’ve been using NVDA quite a bit lately because it works best with Android Studio.  But I would like to use it more.

Best,

Juan Hernandez

All the information you need is on the NVDA GitHub repository:

The readme will get you started.
