For the last few weeks I have had two problems with NVDA.
1. The quick navigation keys do not work on websites. My computer tech can log in remotely to my PC. They sometimes work for him. That is weird! Nothing has been uninstalled except Avast Free Antivirus. Reinstalling it did not correct the problem. 2. NVDA has trouble telling which window is active. If I open Firefox from the desktop and then close it Windows returns to the desktop but NVDA continues to show whatever line in the website I was on. If I press tab Windows goes to the start button and NVDA shows that. I think these are problems that should be looked into for the next release of NVDA. I've brought them up before and did not receive any helpful responses. -- John J. I think this was because nobody could duplicate the effects on their
systems. If you have access to a similar system it would be worth testing if its a software problem in windows itself. Things can and do go wrong in the registry, just like all forms of Windows.
