Re: nvda/next 5410db6a: Merge branch 't5987' into next

Michel Such

Hi,

With this Next release, browse mode seems a bit broken, at least under Firefox.

Quick navigation keys don't work anymore, even arrows seem to be inefficient.

Hi,

I don't think that was caused by this particular merge.

Can anyone else reproduce this?

Hi,

I cannot reproduce this in FF 47 under Windows 10.

Cheers,

Oops,

Maybe false problem.
It occured after NVDA was restarted by the installer.
Since that, I have manually stopped and restarted NVDA and the problem seems to be gone.

Re: nvda/next 5410db6a: Merge branch 't5987' into next

Brian's Mail list account BY
I've also noticed that doing updates can affect other things randomly, such
as some menus on some software not working or inability to cursor through
things in word in browse mode. In all cases a restart of nvda and the
offending program fixes it. It seem to  be affecting 7 and xp so probably
other versions of windows as well
Maybe sometimes the  new copy does not hook in correctly in some way. Its
not a new issue its been around for say a couple of months, but as with many
of this type of issue, it might and probably won't do it to order, only when
you least expect it.
