Hi Peter,
Doesn't the fact that I am using a standard ID for "Save As" mean that
Windows will use the correct version for the locale?

Also, that should be "Save &As" for the standard shortcut.

I believed that it will work like this also. But we perhaps miss
something because it is always displayed in english. In fact all the OK
and Cancel buttons are in english.
I was looking in the wxpython wiki if this can't be somehow managed but
I have never got it to work properly. Definatelly they have got some
kind of localization support which can be used in conjunction with
pygettext but even their example code did not work for me so I was
unable to incorporate that.

Ok I believe I have solved it in revision 1962. How simple :-)
