[Nvda-dev] General questions - what to do with exceptions

Lubos Pintes-2
Hello,
One question. When I am running NVDA, sometimes I hear the error sound
and obviously the exception log is generated. My question is: what to do
with it? It is not always clear what causes the error. So do I have to
send this here when I have no other info,  for example how to reproduce it?

Hi.
Generally speaking, an exception without any context is often not very
useful. Having said that, there is a chance that it may be a simple fix,
so reporting it may be useful. :) I'm reluctant to say that you should
post all exceptions here because we will end up with a very cluttered
list. On the other hand, if you see an exception while performing the
same task or in the same application, even if you can't quite reproduce
it, posting it here may provide us with enough info to track it down.
For now, use your judgement given those criteria.
