[NVDA-dev] Customized symbols.dic file

Michel Such
Hi,

Using the appropriate dialog, I just modified file symbols.dic.
The change file was saved under the name sumbols-fr.dic to overhide the
original one.
My question is, why is this file saved in the root of the user's
directory and not in the speechdicts subdirectory?

Re: [NVDA-dev] Customized symbols.dic file

Bernd Dorer
because symbols.dic isn't a simple voice dictionary. And uses other
components than speechdicts.
