[NVDA] Virtual Cursor vs browser Hotkey Question

Huvie Schwarz
Hi,

In using NVDA, sometimes the up and down arrow keys stop reading the page text and only scrolls the current page that I am on. Is there a hot key I can use to switch the cursor to the virtual cursor?

Thanks for any help!

You can toggle between browse mode and focus mode using NVDA+Space.
Additionally, if your cursor is inside an element that has taken the
keyboard focus e.g. an Adobe Flash object, you can use NVDA+Ctrl+Space
to return to the page content.

As far as the virtual cursor is concerned, you could switch between browsing mode and focus mode, or if you wish to use the mouse cursor, or the virtual PC cursor. You could use the keys on the non-pad, or alternatively use the laptop lay out keystrokes that are used to Control the virtual cursor or the mouse cursor. You might wish to specify which purse or you are talking about, as there are many cursor is in NVDA.
