More on quick navigation keys problem

I've posted before about the weird fact that quick navigation keys don't work on my machine in Firefox or Chrome. now I
find out that they do work in Microsoft Edge. Maybe this will give someone an idea.

I thought this had been solved with that command line registration of the
dlls fix. Are you saying this did not in fact work globally?
