I am left with one problem in next branch

Brian's Mail list account BY
Hi after my reinstall, I am still left with one outstanding issue on
this Windows 7 64 bit machine.
Not very often I find that opening the nvda menu will not work and
thereafter Espeak is gone.
On the log below I restart nvda with a batch file so i can get the log into
notepad automatically. Doing this shows me that although no error is
generated in the log at debug level in nvda, when the program tries to exit
cleanly it basically falls over and has to be terminated forcibly one
assumes as the log just stops. I guess my next test would be to run it with
all add ons disabled to see if this is the cause but to me the speech not
running  is unlikely to be related to that, escpecially as logging of key
presses continues but no speak entries occur even after going to desktop and
cursoring about.
Hear is my log. Hope somebody can help. This is daft as I've not encountered
this on xp or 10 thus far.
I've also just downloaded the latest version of next when I did the reboot
the first thing I saw was the update prompt.

Re: I am left with one problem in next branch

Brian's Mail list account BY
More details
It actually does not work in the nvda menu on that remoot, but only stops
elsewhere when the nvda menu is accessed either from the tray icon or the
shortcut keys.
Thus the only way to restore operation of nvda is to reboot windows. The
sound is still working though as I hear the shut down noises.

OK it also loses voice in other synths and if you delete or add an add on on
restart.
So I've gone back to master and running next as a portable to monitor
things for a while.

Now I have next as a portable version and Master as the installed one and
the latter has been fine.
However I switched to  next this morning and tried to do an update.
The interesting part about the log below is that some of the last things it
says it spoke it did not, at least until I managed to get it into the secure
desktop and selected the restart windows option, which from what I can see
here did not come out in this log as presumably the part that reads secure
screens from the old master was perhaps able to still run even though it was
closed?
The upshot of this is that I never did get to the enter file name in
firefox downloader dialogue as you will see below.

This is very odd. Its Firefox 52 beta and the 32 bit version on a 64 bit
machine running 7.
