Hi everybody, First of all, I wanna thank you all for your support on my previous question , your help was relevant and welcome. I’m working once again on NVDA’s touchHandler and I’m looking on a way to enable/disable the touchHandler. My goal is to use NVDA on top of a virtual keyboard with a blind user and a teacher. Disabling the touchHandler as the teacher is using the tablet to navigate is important to me ( the touchHandler can be a bit heavy to use ). Here's my question : 1°) Is-it possible to add a key combination ( like "NVDA + Shift + S" in order to enable the Sleep Mode ) ? 2°) Is-it possible to toggle an AppModule is the application ( in my case, the virtual keyboard ) is visible ? Thank's for your help. Hi Lucas
As it stands now, in sleep mode (NVDA + Shift + z on a laptop) does not disable NVDA touch interception. I spent some time recently disabling NVDA touch; my reason was different; my application is self voicing and self gesturing. I developed an appModule to do perhaps what you want, at present it is a bit of a hack as there is no clean way to do this as far as I can tell. Contact me directly and I shall explain and send you my source code. Regards Isaac On 16/02/2015 10:35, Lucas Delvalle
