Adding sheet interaction into the element's list of NVDA in Excel?

Brandon Keith Biggs
Hello,
Currently there is no way to get to the sheets menu and right-click on a sheet using NVDA in Excel.
This is a window that is on the bottom right of every excel document for sighted users. When one right-clicks on a sheet in this menu they are given lots of options to interact with the sheet.
The elements list is awesome for getting between sheets, but I am wondering if it will allow me to right-click on the sheet? If that is impossible, could there be a button that will jump me to the sheets area?
Thanks,

NVDA do not allow Excel users to give Excel sheets their names

Mgr. Janusz Chmiel-3
Dear developers,
Does somebody of us know about hod key, which allow blind user to
change specific Excel sheet name?
Currently, I can only switch between shetts by pressing CTRL+page up or
Page down. But I ca not rename The sheet.
Does somebody of us know, how to change sheet name in Excel? Or it is
possible in newest Office version?

As mentioned in the Excel section of the NVDA User Guide, open the
elements list with NVDA+f7, select the Sheets type (shortcut: alt+h),
select the sheet in the tree view and press f2 to rename it.

Hello,
Currently the only real menu we have to interact with sheets in Excel is:
alt+h, o.
If you wish to rename, you press alt+h, o, r.
But always when working with the menus there is a pretty big lag, so wait for the name to be read, then you can start typing.
Thanks,

Hi,

I use Excel only with shortcuts and not even the mouse. Here is a set of shortcuts that I think might help. If you search for the word "Worksheet" in the web page below, you will find all the shortcuts for managing worksheets including renaming.
https://www.shortcutworld.com/en/win/Excel_2013.html
While these are for Excel 2013, they will still apply to Excel 2016. Later this year, I am sure there will be an upgrade of the web page to include excel 2016.

I hope this provides what you are looking for.

All the best,

Cearbhall
